Covered Patio

Colorado gets 300 days of sunshine per year! Enjoy gorgeous natural light and fresh air while staying out of the elements on our Covered Patio. It is the perfect spot for a corporate happy hour or birthday party. Reserve the Covered Patio by itself or combine it with a Malt Room reservation for extra elbow room.

The Malt Room

The Malt Room is near and dear to our hearts -it's where we used to store our malt, an essential ingredient for making beer. Nowadays, it accommodates up to 45 people in a cozy space with unique wooden details on the ceilings and a stunning, colorful mural by local artist John Cross. Concrete flooring and overhead lighting add character to the Malt Room, the perfect space for your next wedding rehearsal dinner, corporate meeting or family reunion. Reserve the Malt Room by itself or add the Covered Patio for extra space and a protected outdoor area.

The Tasting Room

Did you know you can reserve the entire Tasting Room for your event? Host a holiday party or a company event at Longmont’s most enduring brewery, established in 1993. The space features bar seating, the cozy Malt Room, the all weather Covered Patio, and two outdoor patio spaces to the west and north of the Tasting Room. The north patio features unique details like Adirondack chairs and a fireplace. There’s plenty of room for you and your guests sit and chat or mix and mingle while you sip on a hand crafted Left Hand beer in Longmont’s Living Room!

The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden is one of the most remarkable venues in Longmont! Check out the spacious turf, perfect for playing games like bocce or cornhole, or for setting up tables and chairs for additional seating. At the south end of the Garden, find our RoxBox bar, surrounded by picnic tables and smaller, round tables. Six semi private snugs are also available for seating. The Garden is lined with plants native to Colorado and laden with festive lights perfect to set the mood for your fundraiser, wedding, or company party!

No, we serve local canned cocktails, canned wine, CBD water, and non-alcohol local sodas

  • Our food truck, Handhelds, is available for an additional fee
  • You are welcome to bring in your own catering
  • We can provide a recommended list of local food vendors

Yes, we allow children as long as they are well-behaved and accompanied by adults 

  • Yes, we allow leashed, well-behaved dogs on our West Patio and The Garden (when open)
  • All service dogs are welcome with proper paperwork


No, gratuity is not included. It will be added to the minimum tab at 20%

No, taxes are not included in the base rental price

Yes, we have restrooms with changing tables in our Tasting Room and The Garden (when open)

  • There are parking lots on the west and south sides of the Tasting Room
  • There is a paved lot on the north side of Boston Ave

 Yes, there are ADA spots in the west parking lot, the parking lot north of the Tasting Room and the parking lot east of The Garden

  • The Malt Room has a screen and projector with HDMI connections
  • There is sound system throughout the Tasting Room and The Garden including microphones


Smoking of any kind is ONLY allowed in the designated smoking area in the west parking lot or immediately in front of The Garden entrance

The Tasting Room includes a variety of regular tables and chairs, high top tables, and barstools as well as Adirondack chairs on the North Patio. The Malt Room includes regular tables and chairs, and the Covered Patio includes regular tables and chairs, and high top tables. The Garden includes shaded regular tables and chairs, picnic tables and six semi-private snugs.

  • Outside alcohol is prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made
  • No glitter of any kind
  • Stakes are not allowed in The Garden turf
  • Glass is not allowed in The Garden
  • Smoking or vaping of any kind is not allowed in Tasting Room or The Garden. Please use designated smoking areas

Directions from Denver: I-25 north to exit 240, turn left onto Hwy 119, turn right onto Sunset St, turn right on Boston Ave. The Tasting Room will be on your right, parking on the left

Directions from Ft Collins: I-25 south to exit 240, turn right onto Hwy 119, turn right onto Sunset St, turn right on Boston Ave.

You can bring in decorations for your event, but you must take everything with you once the event is over

No, you cannot. The sidewalk is City of Longmont property, and you cannot have an open alcoholic beverage on City property
