Longmont Oktoberfest Safety Information
Posted: September 13, 2021
The health and safety of our community is our top priority!
In efforts to make everyone feel as comfortable and safe as possible while celebrating at Longmont Oktoberfest, the Left Hand Brewing Foundation is implementing additional safety and sanitization procedures for this year’s festival.
First, we have moved our one-day event in Roosevelt (that typically draws thousands of attendees at a time) to a multi-day celebration in Left Hand’s new outdoor space, The Garden, at 1245 Boston Ave. Join us from Wednesday, September 22 through Sunday, September 26 for this special edition of Longmont's favorite fall festival! The Garden’s more intimate setting will encourage smaller groups and help us keep track of numbers. Keeping a close eye on capacity will allow as much green space for guests to spread out as possible. Our amazing security team will be monitoring attendance and will cut off admittance if and when necessary. Please come early and plan accordingly!
We will be adhering to all local regulations and guidelines. On September 3, a Universal Masking mandate went into effect from Boulder County Public Health. The order “requires mask wearing in all indoor public spaces for all individuals 2 years and older regardless of vaccination status.” Though this mandate does not pertain to the majority of The Garden space itself, it does apply to the facilities in The Garden. Please bring your mask in order to utilize the restrooms as masks will be required for entry. If you would like to visit our Tasting Room before or after Oktoberfest, masks will be required in that space. We encourage all guests, staff, and volunteers who are more comfortable wearing masks both inside and outside to please do so - we want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible while celebrating!
