This select batch of Galactic Cowboy first rested in the rye, whiskey, rum, and brandy barrels which previously held our celebrated 25th Anniversary Stout. The rich layers of flavor infused into these barrels' oak staves were absorbed beautifully by our Imperial Stout. We then transferred the beer to fresh Kentucky Bourbon barrels, accentuating its bourbon character and imparting notes of vanilla. The result is an exquisite stout that went on a 12-month, double-barrel journey before finding its way to you.
