Chocolate Licorice Tart

Ingredients:

  • Tart: ¾ cup butter
  • 4 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp anise extract
  • ¾ cup of flour
  • The Icing:
  • 4 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¾ cup evaporated milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp anise extract

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, melt butter and chocolate and cool. Beat eggs, sugar and extracts until thick. Add to cooled chocolate mixture, blend well, add flour to incorporate. Pour into a well greased tart pan Bake for 30 minutes. Icing: Put all the icing ingredients in a food processor and blend about 3 minutes.Spread over cake.
