Ales4Females is a female only event hosted in the Left Hand Brewing Tasting Room intended to bring together a group of women that want to have a fun evening discussing beer and food pairings, hearing a guest speaker from within the industry, and developing each member’s palate.
This April, Carl Rose, Left Hand brewer and resident beer historian, will be presenting Brewed at Altitude: The History of Colorado’s Brewing Industry. He will cover Colorado’s pioneer brewers of the 1860’s, to the rise of Coors as a national force, and the explosion of craft beer starting in the 1970’s and continuing up to today. Carl has been a professional brewer for over 5 years and researched American brewing history as part of his post graduate studies.
